Live Day Trade Videos Image

This was a live trade that I took on Friday, 08-14-2026. This is a two-legged pullback to the EMA in a down trending market. While the counts on this entry are actually a 3rd entry, I still treated this like a full-fledged 2nd entry. It looks like two-legs back, so it will likely act like two legs back and move on to retest the lows on this trend channel after a break of the trend line. If you look at the first entry, it is only a single tick, so not much of an attempt to go lower really. Enjoy the trade but hang around afterwards for some additional student success stories.

Thank you, Mack for all you do. The clarification on trendline break and new high or low explained more specifically during yesterday’s chart review to me, helped me read price action better today on the sim. And also, to follow it up with a live trade, demonstrating trendline break rules, was great! I appreciate you.

Glad it was helpful. That’s why I try to do those trades, so I can walk you through my thought process.

Why did you not take the 2nd entry on the trade you demonstrated? It had a break new extreme and had crossed the ema and trend line. The signal bar was great.

I didn’t get everything ready to record in time. It would have been a nice trade to enter on the engulfing bar.

Hey Mack,
why not limit sell under the actual SB before the engulfing bar that u spoke of? I have seen this happen a million times where a “bad” SB (bull bar for a short and vice versa) gets tested again before the trade then goes in our direction. It worked really well on this trade today. Do u ever limit in?
Thanks for the recording!

It’s best to enter with a buy/sell stop 1 tick above/below the signal bar. The problem with always limiting into a trade is you will miss the very best moves, as those don’t usually give you the opportunity to get back in and those are the ones that give you the really nice runners.
